The course is relatively short and easy.

time requirements for a C.F.I. certificate:
10 hours of dual
40 hours ground instruction
Each student must prepare an entire course
of lesson plans.

As
with the instrument certificate, the training
for CFI can be done while building time
towards the commercial certificate, and
therefore incurs very little additional
